I was 12 in ’75 and finished the set by hand. Still have them. I remember Dick Drago for the same reason you do. He was my first double, too. In 1970, he must have been in every pack my dad purchased for me. George Mitterwald also. That's when cards were issued in series and chances of doubles were much greater.

Anyway, keep up the good work. This blog is a fun read.Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05745178909208758673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4487834052004001845.post-51206200957807678522010-10-07T01:35:33.732-04:002010-10-07T01:35:33.732-04:00Maybe he's related to "Ivan Drago" t...Maybe he's related to "Ivan Drago" the Russian boxer from Rocky. Yea, I know, he doesn't look Russian.

I've always thought the same thing about the mud. Here is a link to the baseball mud site:

http://baseballrubbingmud.com/

I wondered how much it cost and they sell it on the site. It's $65for a 32 ounce tub. What a sweet gig.

Way to go Yaz!Play at the Platehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14231140141558021698noreply@blogger.com
